Rudolph Steiner has written about and from the akashic records...I have all of his books and lectures, I'll look it up...

My friends are putting out a comic on it, called the Chronicles of Akasha.

In this particular Lecture linked below by Rudolph Steiner on 25th June, 1909 entitled, "The Gospel of St. John -- Lecture II" Steiner speaks of the qualities needed to access the akashic records...Mind you that many of Steiner's lectures are claimed to be drawing information directly from these 'records' so it is difficult for the skeptic or scholar to verify...I have read through probably 80 percent of his written legacy and find some of the knowledge and information to be very useful...

Cayce was said to use this information during his "readings", and he proclaimed he had past lives as well. He even knew (and went on record stating) the date of his own death, which was 100% accurate.

Edgar Cayce's ability to interpret the records was claimed to be so profound that he was even able to let one person know that the his real birthday was June 29th and not June 28th as he'd grown up believing...Cayce said there were two sources of his information, one being the sub-conscious mind of the individual he was giving the reading to and the other source was the akashic records...Cayce told one woman once that the soul became fully aware of the relevant information on the Akashic Records whenever that individual applied whatever knowledge she or he possessed...

The interpretation of the Akashic Records was probably introduced to the West in the early 19th Century by Helena Blavatsky who said the akasha was more than simply an account of 'static data' which may be gleaned upon by someone 'sensitive' but it was one of the cosmic principles and is a plastic matter, creative in its physical nature and immutable in its higher principles...

Rudolph Steiner claimed to possess the ability to perceive information beyond the material world which he said was as real to him as the physical is to us all...Steiner claimed that this ability can be developed by all and could enable each individual to perceive events and information every bit as concrete as the present...He said these records do not stand before him like a sort of dead testimony of history but appears before him full of life as if they are truly taking place at that very moment...

I think the Akashic records is a collective energy of all information and knowledge from all conscious and subconscious.
It takes some serious mind work to access this though.

These records have already been unlocked plenty of times by human minds. when in a state of altered consciousness, just think of a question and the answer "comes to you" automatically.
