Thread: Past life regression/hypnosis

I'v always been interested in past lives, there has been many reports of memory's of such,
but i haven't ever tried hypnosis, who knows, maybe not all we do is inherited genetically from our parents, but simply things we used to do in our past lives.

I'm a firm believer of reincarnation. I think our souls decide each go round whether to come back to this plane or go one to another.

I've never done hypnosis and I never will. I have a thing about not being in control of my subconscience or rather, giving control to someone else.

I do, however, on occassion, have dreams (both waking and sleeping) complete with memories that are not of this time age but I feel emotional attachments to, none the less. It's surprising and usually a pleasant experience except for a few times when a particularly painfull event flashes past but these, in a way, are healing as well.

For me, it's a comfort to know that my soul is ageless and it's not my first rodeo.

I'm only on chapter 10 of the book I mentioned above and it's very interesting, I'd highly recommend it, dolores cannon link to her website has many books on this subject and this particular book I'm reading is all about a "patient" of hers and the book is mainly there sessions together. I don't want to give too much away incase I spoil it for others that may read it, lool. But it's basically to do with aliens/souls and earth etc ect

I'm not a firm believer in it but I do not discount it either. Deja vu intrigues me greatly and a past life could be its explanation. I really do dislike getting deja vu myself. If I have an occurrence I know I'm going to have a thought provoking day which isn't always a good thing haha.

Of course it's real. Reincarnation is the only logical explanation. Just be on this Earth and die one time and that's it? Makes no sence. So let's just all go around killing and raping and stealing if that's the case. But for some reason most of us don't. Because deep within the subconscious mind we all know the truth because we have all done this many times.

To sagewillow- From the sound of it I'm possitive you have lived those lives before and that is your subconscious mind trying to tell you something about yourself that your conscious mind doesn't know. I encourage you to explore what is within you, you may find something very important. You must not be afraid, no one is going to control you. It is only your true self, the subconscious mind that will overtake your physical consciousness. The more you bring your subconscious to the forefront the more answers you will obtain about yourself and where you come from.

How else is it that there are people that can paint the most stunningly amazing portraits at the age of only 5? The answer is because they have done it before.

Yep I agree but have a few problems I'm trying to understand:

1, why is it that new born babies die say, at birth? What have they learnt (if anything)?
2, do animals have a soul too? If so, then what about bacteria as that's living too?
3, if we have evolved (darwins theory) then at what stage in evolution has our souls entered this world? (bacteria? Fish species? Worm? Ape?)
4, if we (our souls) have all been reincarnated from the simplist life forms to grow/nurture and develop our souls (start out as bacteria then move up the chain to humans) then at death if the human vehicle wouldn't we move into another world/dimension

5, if it is (as I believe) that we are re-incarnated over and over until we reach a point that our souls are all knowing and have learnt what we have to on this earth, what is the purpose and why don't we consciously remember other life's?

I think there are a select few people who know certain things about this world and how it truly works and why but for some reason they have created a world where we are not told the truth about certain things, maybe for the good of mankind or for there own ego reasons.

Mozart could play and write symphonies at the age if 4/5 and there are many more child prodigies around the world with similar "god given talents" makes you wonder don't it, lol

I used to ponder these questions many times - it seem so pointless to die and forget the lessons of life

But like i said before - if we all lived to 500 years old there would be no wars or suffering

you live a whole life learning how to treat your fellow man - but to die when you got life all worked out

but maybe thats why you die - you learned the life lesson - time to move on

Let me try to help Eddie-

1. Tough one, but i do know that karma is always the rule. My thoughts are that good chance they commited bad deeds in a past life. Possibly even murdered on of their own babies. You may think because theyre babies they dont even know whats going on. But their subconscious mind is always aware, and who knows if they learned a lesson afterwards. Also the karma could fall on the parent. If the child died of a disease or something, the bad karma couldve fallen on the mother. So now the mother will have to live her life with that grief. Im sure there is more then 1 answer.

2. Animals and bacteria do not have souls as we do but they do have spirit. Every atom in the universe has spirit. Dont ask about where they go after death but im sure its completely peaceful. Animals and God are always deeply intouch.

3. This one is more complex but the easiest answer would be, as for the animals God created our souls did not occupy their bodies. Adam was the first human that a soul occupied. Our souls however were floating about the earth before adam.

4. Not sure i fully understand the question, our souls never occupied bacteria and moved up. When we die we move to other planes to learn more and more so we can come back to earth and apply what we have learned. Once a soul has learned and apply all it needs to it moves on to another solar system. This is where i believe aliens come from. There are other physical planes in far off solar systems with souls such as ourselves with a higher understanding. You can read my blog "who are aliens really" for more thoughts on that.

5.Our conscious minds is sort of a mask i guess. Your brain doesnt remember past lives because your brain never experienced it. You subconscious mind on the other hand remembers everything. The only way to know is to bring the subconscious mind to the forefront through meditation or hypnosis.

Also, we do have the power to live 500 years. Did you ever think it was weird in the bible how people lives 900 years? Its complicated, but if you meditated on it enough and you went around preaching love and doing great things in accordnance with the will of the Lord, being more intouch with the spiritual self, you can live as long as you want without even aging. The will of man is the most powerful force in the universe, even more than all the stars in the sky. Not that you or I could just do this right now. But it is in the realm of possibility. Crazy shit huh?

1. Yes I agree that the lesson could be on the parents and/or medical team but also in that baby/soul. I'm sure there is always more than 1 answer as things effect others....like a ripple effect.

My reason for asking that question is:

At birth the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck and the more my mother pushed the tighter it got.....so by giving birth she was basically killing me too. Apparenty they pronounced me dead and "gave up" if you like but my mother pleaded for them to keep trying and after many minutes I just came back to life. Also at the age of 7/8 I died again in hospital and was pronounced dead (this 1 I remember vaguely, and remember seeing a White light and something telling me I have to go back (to earth) as it's not my time, but I wanted to stay as it was very peaceful/warm and alluring).

2. Is there a difference between a soul and spirit?? I'm sure that bacteria or other micro organisms don't have a brain so if that's true how comes it multiplies and re-produces?? Survival instinct or a will to exist??

3. But surely if we are ment to learn/feel all things we must learn/feel all things including the things at the bottom of the food chain or beginning of a life form??

4. This question was/is based on "if we or our souls started out as the basic life forms and re-incarnated up the chain through all living things until we reach humans then once we learn all things then we move on to other planes/dimensions/planets ect)

5. How is it then that 1 person can be regressed in past life and recall in details that they were say, Cleopatra or Hitler or whoever then someone else can also be regressed and be or talk about being Cleopatra?? 2 or more souls cannot live the same human life???

I don't expect you or anyone else to have all the answers but do hope others share opinions and experiences as I don't think anyone is either right or wrong.
