OK... here's the crack. Every few years or so I search the net for pictures of a being I witnessed as a kid. As more stuff is loaded on the net the harder the search gets. I'll give up again but in another few years I'll repeat the search again. And so the cycle will continue. Except perhaps by joining this forum I'll get a little help or pointed in the right direction. This has lived with me since I was 12. I'm now 46. I'll never forget it. I'll describe the whole event in detail but apolls before hand if it's long winded.

1974 was a bad year for me. I'd been in a very bad car crash. 3 weeks later I died for a moment and experienced the "light" (added this incase people feel it's important). The accident happened in the school summer brake. It was a long recovery. While convalescing at home I had the following experience.

23rd December 1974. I remember distinctly the date. The day before Christmas Eve with all the excitement a child has at that time of year. Due to my circumstances of the injuries I was over coming my bed was in our living room. The room was almost square but in fact was rectangular by a couple or 3 feet. On a horizontal axis. I'll describe a little further. Starting at my bed in the lower right of the rectangle the living room door was just short of the lower left. In the top left was the back door on to the garden. This door was half glass from middle to top. A long orange curtain covered most of it. The curtains were never draw closed. The living room window was large in the center of the top wall of the rectangle. Middle to top and blinds were used. Top right corner was the TV and between the TV and my bed was the gas fire. There's the setting and here's what happened.

The family had the evening meal and settled in to watch the TV the time was around 7.30 to 8 pm. Unusually we didn't have the living room light on and were only illuminated by the black and white TV. My Father lay on the floor by the fire and my mother lay on the couch opposite to it. We were doing what working class folk did...just watching the box. I was in my bed nicely propped up by a bundle of pillows engrossed in whatever the program was. I don't know what made look over to the back door (diagonally opposite me) but I could clearly see a being looking in and he was looking at me. If I said "gulp" I’d be slightly playing it down. Whispering I tried to raise the alarm to mum and dad. When I looked over to them they were both asleep along with the family dog. I raised my voice loader but they didn't awake. The being was now trying the back door handle for entry. At this point I was like "Oh *&^%" and like a 6 year old pulled the covers over my head for protection. When I stuck my head out again.... the being had gone. The clock on the TV was 2 and a bit hours further on, around 10.30pm. I explained all to my parents, as they seemed to wake up at that moment. Their explanation....."dreaming". I knew better than that but who's going to believe a 12 year old. That's the event.

Description of the being.

Here's where my search always fail me but I have seen a pencil drawing on a news item some years ago. The exact same being reported in an alien encounter on the news. The being was in a dark hooded cape. He was small about 3.5 to 4 feet tall. Only just tall enough to look through the glass door window. His facial features were wrinkly with what could almost be but not quite be described as a snout. I kind of recollect some light long facial hair but my memory is either fading or being corrupted by other images of aliens I've seen. In trying to describe this being I'm fully aware I'm about to come across like a nutter but from the star wars movie it's a cross between chewbacca and the cuddly ewoks. Same size as the ewoks but without the fur and with chewbacca's face....again without the hair and defiantly not cuddly.

Location... Coventry England, 23rd December 1974. Don't recollect being on medication at home. Can't remember year or channel I viewed the news item.

I would like to find a picture or line drawing of this chap and any other info that goes with it.

If I was to imagine the links original drawing as a cops Photo Fit I would be compelled to say "thats him". Excuse my bit of humor here but if I was one of those racial predjudiced guys I would be compelled to say "they all look the same to me". I guess what I'm trying to convey is that is defiantly the same species.

In my screen shot I have tried to, unsuccessfully though, depict deep furrows or wrinkles following the contours of the face and forehead, pronounced bags under the eyes and not so much facial hair.

What I find so very interesting is the year and location (plays twilight zone music). Is there an original source to the drawing. Anything known of this particular incident? I will add a comment to the Utube link.

Thanks again you've been most helpful. I read the links, which confirmed the height of the little blighter. Although the picture isn't 100 % as I can recall it's darn near close enough. The nose / beak / snout is a little off and as I already stated not so much facial hair on my little fellow. Same species I'm sure.

I've often wondered about the missing time as described in my opening thread but with all honesty I have no recollection or any recall. It's as though the clock was set forward. Very strange. Could I have been examined? Or abducted like those in Aveley...perhaps but NOT to my knowledge. It's just missing time that I can't account for.

So where do I go from here? Remembering I'm in the UK are there any official bodies I should contact. Any organizations that would be interested. So far I have 3 things 1) my personal experience 2) News item depicting the same being 3) the information you kindly submitted concerning the Aveley incident in the same year. I would like to expand upon this and get info on the same beings.

It is possible that visiting aliens would be capable of encase themselves into an energy field that somehow would allow time to be stretched out a great deal. Where 1 second becomes equivalent to 1 hour. With this, one could be held for a great length of time...yet hardly create any noticable missing time at all.

Gawd knows mate. There's some strange stuff going on about us. It's more than reasonable to assume their technology is way more advanced. Probably to the point of being beyond our present imagination let alone our realistic aspirations.

On a side note I've spent the last 2 days on the net / Utube / google. Man there's allot of crap out there. Some folk must want something to do. They post complete useless flawed and badly faked rubbish. Unfortunately one has to sift through the dross just to get to a "maybe". Which frankly puts me off.

One thing I've learnt if I'm to take half the stuff seriously.... Don't take a ride on a space ship. They can't fly the darn things with all the crashes they have. I'd rather take me chances riding a pushbike the wrong way in the fast lane......

Oh yer...2012 planet X Nubru. What a fascinating end of world theory. At least we won't have to put up with the Olympic bloody games.
