I know it's no laughing matter, but I cannot stop laughing at that photo. At first, I thought it was a caricature.

An "event" I would welcome.

I know it's a silly thought, but I think a major event like an asteroid or a comet would in moderation and at the right time do some good for this world. On the whole.

I would probably pick:

- alien invasion (not so much invasion as a mass-arrival)
- asteroid (aimed of course at a particular angle and um.. place).. not mine lol

Dictatorships calling themselves Democratic

Politics is probably one of my weakest topics, so I would like for someone to explain to me why tyrannical dictatorships like the Socialist/ Communist North Korea often call themselves Something Rather Democratic Party etc.? Is it a cruel joke on the people? What is the purpose, and how does it help them keep control of the populace?
