Interesting, it would be nice to get a bit of context for the image though.

That pics came out quite a while ago so I don't remember what the reports were of its authenticity or what the analyses of the image was..... |

I really couldn't say what it is. The picture is too blurred and out of focus to make a definate answer.
It does look like some large bear, but considering this is taken in Scotland I guess that would be a no no. |

I've taken a second look at this picture and If you look at the way the moss and underwater greenery is placed around the picture, I think that it is just that.
We all see faces and images in rocks and everyday things, I think this is the same scenario. |

If you look to the right of the picture,(smaller bottom left) you can see a head with tentacles. its silt from the bottom, disturbed by the divers.its a bit like looking at clouds.many investigations at loch ness have found no evidence of any large nessie type creature.it helps the tourist industry though. |

It's probably just matrixing - the mind making sense of it by making it appear as if it's something that it's not.

Most likely, it's a picture of either two things; another animal (which is highly likely), or a piece of debris underwater. IMO, the authenticity of this photo directly relies upon whether it was taken by an automatic camera or by a live human being. If I remember correctly, I've seen this pic before somewhere and it was determined to be underwater debris. |

Actually, it looks almost exactly like photos I have seen of a Hippopotamous under water. So do the plants in the pix. Loch Ness has almost no underwater plants due to extreme depth and dark brown water giving little light penetration. Water in the Ness has brownish tint from tree leaves falling in from surrounding hills.
Are you sure this was not filmed in an African river? |

What appears to be lower jaw is the front leg of a walkin in the river hippo bopin along gettin into his grove? Just thoght I should explain what and why I see that. Have seen almost exact effect of other hippo pixs through the water ripple distortion. Blue water in Ness? Could someone have seen an easy missinterpritation and slipped you a micky? Can you validate the source of photo? |

I agree that it looks like the head of a T-Rex or something. But i REALLY don't think it is. It is just a dust cloud or something.
