i am a non-believer in religion and ghosts.i attended the funeral of my father in law, last week,as i stood to sing the first him, i distinctly felt what i can only describe as a 2 cold fingers touch my right shouler.i glanced behind, thinking a relative was trying to get my attention, they were holding hymn books.the weirdest thing about it to me is the fact i was wearing a coat as it was a cold day,but if felt like this touch was on my skin.my mum a believer thinks it was my father -n-law, letting us know he mande it through or he was asking me to look after his daughter.it has bothered me,and i'm spending far to much time thinking about it.can anyone shed any light on this or had a similar experience.
RIP-rich,you will be missed by many xx |

Sorry dude, this is just something I couldn't really explain to ya- I don't think it's ghosts, I think it's just your imagination. But you never know. -------------------- Was Macht ein Mann? Sorry it took some time to get back to you on this. I meant to post earlier, but had some trouble. Hope this goes through.
About 15 years ago, we had a problem at a university like this. Women in the women's dorms were reporting being touched, pinched, 'felt', having clothes pulled at ... by something unseen. I saw it firsthand (and learned about it) when I was walking with a friend late one night (on campus), and I swear she jumped like 3 feet forward and completely 180. Her eyes were huge and she looked ready for battle. We were like "_____, what happened?" and she told us that it felt like something had hooked onto her skirt so that as she walked forward, her skirt pulled tight. The thing is: nobody was behind us. There were no bushes or other things to catch her skirt. That's when she told us that other people had reported the same thing. That was during rash of some really severe paranormal activity at my university (bad enough I still have the occasional nightmare, a couple times a year - even though it's been nearly 20 years now since it happened). -------------------- The optimist sees a glass that is half-full.

About 10 years ago I worked security at a major Australian Tourist attraction. This place has a theme so security was to be not seen wherever possible so as not to spoil the effect. One night at handover we were doing a round (3 guards) I was very new and didn't do a lot of talking, mostly listening and learning. We stopped at an intersection of three streets in the Park, the three of us were facing each other in a triangle about 10pm this night. I was listening to the two other guys talk. I was clearly and fairly forcefully tapped on the right shoulder. Obviously I looked behind me and saw nothing, I looked up thinking perhaps it was a tree or a falling object from a tree. There was nothing, and it clearly felt like a tap. Anyway the others were talking and I didn't want to interrupt, I also didnt want to look like a dill. Anyway, I forgot about it for a while. And didn't remember till I after the other guys went off shift and I was left there on night shift on my own. It spooked the hell out of me. I don't want to say where it is but believe me if you are an Aussie, you know this place. It is really spooky at night and much weird stuff happens after hours. Anyway a couple of weeks later the subject got onto ghosts and one of the guards said, wait till you get tapped on the shoulder in xxxxxx street. I nearly fell over, when I quizzed him, he told me it is a very regular occurrence to be tapped in that street and that it had happened to him many times. This was the first of many strange paranormal things that I was to see or hear first hand in my time working there. Luckily no one ever got hurt though.

thanks to responders sgt hobbes, kirin, dundee, scottman. Well the bloke that told me about it said it is almost like you are standing in the way of where they walk and they want to get past. That was his feeling on it. Nothing sinister.

I get that a lot lately when I walk the streets here in Manila. To be honest I believe it's just my mind. There's a lot of pick pockets here, so I try to be very aware of my surroundings, thus I feel what isn't there. I don't get that feeling unless I am out in public. I never get it while I am in my house.
