What really happened?

There has to be some importance to why 100's of UFOs were reported over the Capital in the month of July. Could this have been the first alien invasion of our own U.S. Government and the people of the U.S. were not told because fear of pannic. Was there a treaty made with the aliens?

I have a gut instinct something wierd did happen and i wasn't even born yet.

Answer these questions first. How large were they, how high up were they and how far out. What was their estimated speed. What known crafts on earth (russian or american, british or any other developed nation) had the ability to travel at these speeds and altitude. Then, assuming there were some crafts capable, ask how many were known to exist at that period. If you can show me that we had that many crafts that could travel at those speeds and that were that size and that high up, then there is most likely your answer. Otherwise, Its not of this earth. Was it pieces of space rocks bouncing off of our atmosphere? or was it intelligently controlled?

There were many “official” sources that later claimed the UFO’s were caused by inversion layer phenomenon etc. Also, there were the air traffic controllers who said it could not be natural phenomenon. For whatever reason, this incident was quickly let go of by most citizens. Peace and love~rore

what trog is saying... you are just asking a question with no real answer. nobody can really give you a answer that would be correct because there are a million questions to be asked and no one to give answers. lol

I was looking for peoples opinions on the matter because that is all this forum is truly about is Opinions!

So high and Trog get a life! If you don't want to veiw your opinion on this matter then don't say anything at all!

I'm pretty sure someones opinion on here might be the truth!

In my opinion, (with regards to the DC UFO sightings) it is also significant to note that the first hydrogen bomb was tested on Nov. 1, 1952 Peace and love~rore

Well, Since you seem to be lashing out at me about it (assuming you're being serious with the emote) Then I, saw the question you asked as "prove these aliens exist". It's a bit vague. Its kind of a 2 part question, in which I tried to answer the first part with using some sort of logic. when you ask "Could this have been the first alien invasion of our own U.S. Government" I tend to associate Government with Military and Air defense most of the time, not the House or Represenitives or congress or whatever. So, "Could this have been the first Alien invasion of our Government" lead me to believe you were asking if these were in fact Alien Invaders testing out our Nations Air Defense. I know you didnt put it in words, But I am tired and thats how I saw it. So the rest of your question is basically how would people react to it. have we been sold out by our Government and handed power over to the Aliens? All I was trying to do is point out the fact that these things are hauling ass, They're faster then our rocket program was known to be able to do (or Russia at that time). It was only 7 years after the Germans invented the first Jet aricrafts, so I doubt we had a leap in technology that fast and the fact that even if We did, why is it today, we dont seem to have the technology in use? The story I heard was, these things moved in (south to north?) the air defence was called out, they chased them, the things outran our jets, the jets returned back to base, these objects then did a 180 and returned over the capital, the American Air defence were called out again, the objects outran out defense once more and I believe they returned for a third time before never to be seen again. So, thats all I have to say to you. Except, maybe you should lay off the caffien!
