I'd like to know how they're deciding which direction to point the laser... Maybe keep it going for a full 24 hours to cover as vast and area as possible?

Too bad, we beat them to it. And for the record, roaches don't do that at all -- they're biodegraders that break down rotting (usually plant) organic matter.What if they're like roaches and want to consume our entire planets eco system.

I think it's a good idea man what's to lose....
Maybe in ten's of thousand's of year's we will probably have the tecnology to overtake it.. colonize some distant planet then recieve the signal and wonder who the hell sent it LOL

Nothing at all. I'm just curious as to how feasible it is.
