Things that aren't UFOs - What to look out for

No probs mate - its the nature of objects involved in other UFO incidents I have a hard time explaining.

Im surprized that no one has posted a picture of that idiots ballon which caused a ruckess the other week yet. Any guesses as to what he was hoping to achieve (decieve) with his UFO shaped balloon.

Well, I might hope to do so, but where and when that happened? In Australia?

It happened in the States about two weeks ago. This idiot and his wife made this hellium balloon in the shape of a saucer and then let it go. Oh I almost forgot they also called 911 and said their 6 year old son was in the balloon. Im surprised you missed it as they had camera's following this thing for a couple of hours as everyone thought the kid was going to plummet to his death. Apparently they did it to gain publicity as the kids parents are reality show junkies (as in appearing in them), I hope the reality of a real possible jail sentence is sinking in to not only them but any other butt heads who want to make the UFO believers look like fools.

Not sure if I can put this here as a misidentification, though.
I could be wrong, but I'm not aware of this saucer shape helium balloon being falsely identified as a "real" UFO.

Any more info, maybe?

Thanks for that pic Eleven... It shows the rocket trail, unlike many of the other pictures of this truly amazing 'man-made' phenom.

On a smaller scale, I think this is the 'next-step' I've been looking for in fireworks displays...lol
