Default Why no Disclosure of 'any' kind yet?

So I have two major questions that, I know no one has answers to, but I feel are interesting to address different opinions. First off, why no disclosure since the start of civilization? We've had civilization for many thousands of years now, but there is no ironed out introduction. There have been cave drawings, reports, and little mysteries/clues here and there, but nothing more. IF there is life out there, the odds of them noticing us and flocking to our planet are very large, and easily could've been happening since the start of civilization. This would mean that they've managed to keep things pretty quiet for over thousands of years, and not JUST earth-based leaders keeping it quiet, but the aliens as well.

Let me explore a little bit on the heart of this issue though. To me, it seems most logical that we're being observed by one or many races of aliens, simply on the basis of studying and research. Biological advancements in technology occur MUCH faster when testing on similar or identical species, and even faster when you have 'something' to operate on. Simply put, to find a cure for cancer would take a long time with a human, would take a much longer time if the specimens are mainly that of another species, and infinitely longer time if all done on computers, no species to experiment with. Many can argue that we were 'dropped off' here by aliens with a goal of us cultivating a self-sustainable civilization, and therefor an unlimited 'free' supply of test-subjects. In many ways, that may be why humans are easily the only species in control of the world. Yes, I understand evolution and survival of the fittest, but surely by now, thousands of years after OUR civilization, another species would have at least shown signs of remarkable evolutionary improvement. Yes, some species are known to use tools, but you'd imagine something had to have 'helped' us become what we are, whether it's extremely distinct genes or a push in the right direction. Many species out there contain extremely similar traits to us, yet are nowhere near as advanced to even where at the discovery of the wheel.

And maybe that's all just hogwash; it's very possible it is. But that's another topic.. Whether we were introduced to this earth or not, it's extremely likely and often times hinted from artifacts, that we've been watched for some time. At present, we [civilians] have no proof of communication with aliens. Thousands of years have passed, which is a very long time for us, but a seemingly MUCH longer time for an alien species. Our advancements in technology have been great, but are nothing compared to an aliens' advancements when they have so much more technology and power at their disposal. Especially now in dire times when nations are literally threatening to 'nuke' each other and the global population is BOOMING, we've still heard nothing. We're very well approaching a third world war that will be a major turning point in the world history. The US is making big enemies with the most of the middle easy, N. Korea, China, and now even irritating Israel. Economies are crashing, tempers are flying, and politics have never seemed more trivial. The fall of major civilizations can very well be close, and I'm sure the aliens would be interested in their stock, and would try to prevent much of this through whatever means necessary, increasing the chances of a slip-up somewhere.

Regardless, another quick point can be dragged out of this. Assuming one alien is getting some sort of resource out of this planet, what is to prevent another alien source from gaining interest in us, and how friendly or hostile would they be with this joint-system. How about many more? I'm sure if one alien race would be harvesting, than they'd have a pretty strong military close and ready for others. Yet we've never seen any fun fireworks or any signs of disputes.

And now for my second major point. The world is apparently in shambles, as mentioned before. Disclosure would cause absolute chaos through most of the land. I feel there would be immense shifts in foreign affairs and patriotism. Obviously some countries would have known for some amount of time and have gained technology from it. Obviously many nasty horrors have been brushed under the carpet because if they were released, the citizens would revolt. So in this time where countries are threatening to nuke other countries to BC, why hasn't any country leader come out and mentioned disclosure? In a time of mass-networking between every country and civilian that is the internet, why hold it back? A quick example. Pretend China HATES the US.. as has been an increasing case. Also pretend that US is bartering with aliens and getting massive technology boosts, as many people are attributing to be the case for US's overwhelming dominance since before WW1. To me, it seems that disclosure would be a large option for crippling the US. Yes, the consequences will most likely be the beginning of a war, but to me, a war doesn't seem far off as it is. It seems it would be the most efficient way to cripple a nation before you go to war with them. In the opposite case, you could just make other enemies from countries that are also doing the same, so it has it's downsides. But for countries much smaller and more limited, like Iran, there seems so little hope in a war anyways that it would be preferred to try and level the battlefield with mass hysteria. I'm POSITIVE that if the US had assistance from aliens, there would be a few other nations aware of it, and a few of countries possibly detest the US.

Yes, countries have come out and released documents of sightings and fishy stories, but why nothing more? Maybe I'm riding all over the chaos theory, but it seems to me that if you're reaching a time when countries have capabilities of nuking the hell out of each other, there is little order to be made. Many people have committed suicide or sacrificed their lives for much less than providing a good share of disclosure to the world. Why couldn't some leader somewhere do this and go in hiding or commit suicide?

Idk, and maybe i'm just rambling, but it seems to me that things have held 'order' for an unimaginably long time, whether it's the aliens or the world gov'ts holding back disclosure. To me, it strengthens the ideas that either the world is a giant puppet under the aliens, they're intent that we'll be fine and every country is just blowing smoke, or largest of all, that there ARE no aliens. I'm not saying I'm a firm believer of any of these, but to me, they seem to be the most suspect options. Regardless, thousands of years of civilization with no hiccup is QUITE a project for the aliens if that's what they've been working on. Ideas?

Hi TTbrawls,

I hope I can help point the way to some answers for you. I sense the frustration that you must feel. The questions you pose are very good and you are not alone in asking for the answers.

A cool website about UFO's and Conspiracy etc. had the items coded for how credible the "historical" incident was. These timelines can be found from several sources and are generally strict enough for the skeptics. Many movies have been made about UFO's in Art and History. Archeological finds are subject to interpretation and interpretation is subject to the guilletine. Even so, some have stuck their necks out to present astonishing theories backed up by lifetimes of study and research by accredited (and some discredited) scientists and intellectuals. Hundreds of top notch witnesses have made statements to the national press club (see You tube) about their involvement and experiences with UFO's, government coverups and such. Every day now there are new pictures and video recordings of new UFO's and Crop Circles, even Alien's and many unknown creatures as well as abductions, and cattle mutilations. Keeping it quiet? Hardly! (If you think the Newspaper and the TV are giving you the real news, then yes, it's quiet out there, nothing to see here folks, clear the area.)

Humans have been evolving for perhaps millions of years (five or so some scientists surmise), civilisations may have had time to rise flourish and fall victim to natural events on a planetry scale. We know that if our world suffered a planetary disaster that all trace of our existance could be erased in a short time. What is time to the universe? We sit somewhere perhaps 10 billion years out from the galactic core, and there is another 5 billion years of stars towards the edge of the galaxy on the other side of the milky way. The point here is that we don't really know about all of earth's history or the entire history of humanity. An advanced civilisation such as the legendary Atlantis could certainly have flourished with open celebration and full knowledge of ET's.

Fun fireworks. How about the famous Nuernburg UFO wood cutting? Nuremberg Germany UFO Battle (1561)
That must have been some battle to see live!
Lately though there is a story about a little shindig up in the arctic where the humans got served their own butts, but I have seen zero proof of the battle. If the battle takes place in space it is out of view from this pond. How do two extra terrestrial zoo directors fight? I hope they are beyond killing other sentient creatures but there are supposedly more than one species in the area, and each species is subject to it's individual's agenda.

I don't see that anyone would panic (on hearing the disclosure) any more than we panic over knowing that Muslim terroists want to see us all dead is panicing anyone. I think a visit by relatives strikes more fear and panic into hearts than the president saying "we haven't been exactly truthful to our voters". I know my friends in L.A. will only wonder how that will affect their morning jog to the Latte' shop. The News had better not disrupt normal programming! I won't be shocked or upset, nor will at least 25% to as many as 56% (some survey's) of those who feel there is a hidden truth, we are being visited. There just hasn't been enough of a reason for anyone to commit suicide over the matter, the opposite is the case. Each of us who knows should help the rest to find the truth if that is their goal. We can only point the way others must have their eyes willingly open.

If the stories are true about humans being like lab rats or exibits in a biological experiment then our only hope to break free is to first acknowlege our prison. Unfortunately our prison is built on human ignorance, greed, hate, emotion. Until we can transcend and grow spritiually we will be trapped fighting for scraps in the dirt.

No disclosure because there has never been 'visitors' from any other planets except our own. alien abduction is plain and simply sleep paralysis. people want to think 'beyond our wildest imagination' and believe we are being visited by entities from other planets that are simply too far for any type of species to travel, the government will never tell us about their top secret military crafts, and they will continue to let people 'seek the truth about aliens'......They cant disclose what is a figment of our civilizations imagination. so uhm, it is in human nature to learn new things, thats why we want "disclosure" from our people in charge, but like I said, you cant disclose something that has never happened.

I personally know 2 parties of ETs. They can travel from point A to point B without traveling in between. Its how they get here.

I heard we already have achieved this in some labs. I think with light only though.

To the OP. I heard the main reason why they keep so quiet is the greys don't want people to know about life on other planets and want us to stay religiously in the dark. They want us to think we are the center of the universe and the only life out there. The reptiles who created the greys have a LOT of power in this universe unfortunately. Its why ETs havent come forward anonymously and cured stuff like aids etc

why hasn't any country leader come out and mentioned disclosure?
I think some government people have come forward. I think being a leader of a country and doing it is a death warrant though unfortunately. They monitor the thoughts of every single contactee on the planet, and everyone in the position to disclose info. So if they wanted to they could be killed beforehand, too. They have a tight net of surveilance.

why are you even on an ET website if you dont believe? One sign of pure ignorance is thinking you know what you dont,. which you are doing in this case.

well I know we are not the only species in the universe, but we have never been visited, and If someone really did know some "ETs" they wouldnt be sitting at a computer talking about it..

Plenty enough people believe that aliens haven't visited Earth... but that does not automatically mean that they don't believe aliens exist... Regardless, to clarify, this site is for any person who is interested in discussing the topic of aliens be they believers, unbelievers or undecided...

What makes you think that? I'm one of the rare civilians who knows ETs, who sits on a computer and talks about it.

You have a strange logic in solidifying a 'know'. How could you possibly know we have never been visited? The to long to get here thing has been addressed, next.

Thanks for the insight Wayne. Glad to see it's on others' minds.

I'll respond in a second, but first, I wanted to build my grounds so you know where I come from, mainly b/c not everyone agrees, or might think I'm a nut for 'assumptions'. As far as this thread is concerned, it was merely hypothetical asking 'if' we have made contact, when why hasn't... By no means am I implying that we have, but I feel it's an assumption worthy of making due to some evidence that we've seen from archaeology, technology trends, sightings, open-minded science, lab studies, and heavy testimonials.

I'm probably the least biased guy you can muster when it comes to this, and don't truly believe in anything until I see it myself. I have an open mind and won't turn other views down because it's phenomenal just how much technology is out there that we can't even comprehend. There are some things that I don't believe personally (ie rods), but won't discredit b/c I have no grounds to discredit it. And as much as I may want to believe in something, I know the psychology behind this phenomena and can negate it. Everyone has a strong desire for the unbelievable to exist, and we feast off of the thoughts of aliens because it's so outrageous and we're not accustomed to them.

Another part is learning to open your eyes a bit. As a kid, I have always wondered if there was life in our own solar system. When other kids thought about sweet low gravity and Pluto, I thought why couldn't there be life on one of these moons or planets, and even if there were, how would the general public know? Since I've taken numerous astronomy courses, I've realized the opportunities for veiling are just sick. Why? Simply put, it's nearly physically impossible for ground telescopes to see large-scale images on distant astronomical objects, whether our moon, or other planets' moons. There's too much interference in our atmosphere that can only be avoided using some other sensor so far away to help compensate for error from the atmosphere. even this isn't foolproof. Of course, the other option is to send a telescope or sensor to space, outside the atmosphere. You know, the kind of project that is funded by gov'ts.. the very gov'ts that are better off having their citizens know nothing. Hell, NASA has already been caught multiple times for brushing textures on lunar pictures. I'm not going to jump to conclusions about what was in the image, but it says something about their will to keep info from us.

Simply put, I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were other bases in our solar system. There's no way of the general public being able to find out unless it is leaked or aliens come and SHOW us. How did they get there? I only really see two methods.

1. They've been here before we have, whether it was on the planet earth and they were able to escape a catastrophic event that reset the Earth's history, or the same for any other planet or moon in our system. Maybe their planet is still fine.. Idk, and neither would really anyone else < gov't.

2. Warping/Speed-travel. Admittedly, I'm not fond of these. Why? Warping seems unstable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you just warp mass into mass using coordinates. Couldn't you reach critical densities if you've done this enough, until reaching a black hole? Seems like the ultimate military weapon to me. The same applies w/ people claiming aliens can walk through walls. Seems like a lot of mass-manipulation that creates a nasty little paradox. I won't say I don't believe it, b/c the technology would baffle me, but it is what it is. And travelling faster than the speed of light just doesn't sit well with me. How would you prevent from hitting objects? You would be travelling faster than what energy is emitted.. You'd hit objects before you see or 'read' them. Hell, just to scope a path ahead of you to make sure it was clear from debris would require a long time. If hazardous object is 10 lightyears away, you'd have to wait 10 years watching before you could even proceed. Doesn't make sense to me. Therefor, I lean w/ the earlier option that life has been kept to this solar system for the most part. Besides, for this to be efficient, it seems you would require enough acceleration that would induce a serious case of spaghettification on your rig..

Yes, the science is all past me, but the science I 'do' know seems to be enough to disprove it for me until I get something to challenge it.

To disclosure.. yes, I feel in a sense that it has already happened or maybe they are trying to leak it in slowly (media). Regardless, it has not been caused on a mass-scale. People have devoted their entire lives to this, yet still have no 'irrefutable' proof really. Strong proof, yes, but there hasn't been enough disclosure to be for sure w/o taking others' opinions or crazy stories or convincing yourself into it. If I tell myself I love broccoli enough times, yes, I will eventually become accustomed to it and will go try broccoli w/ the impression that I like it, then realize that I had no idea what I was talking about at first bite. If I study only the things that I feel are interesting or seem real, then I am WELL off from finding the truth.

The problem is that probably 80% (COMPLETEY BSed) of the 'educated' population have no idea about anything. Ya, they may believe or not, but no real studies devoted or experiences that convince them that yes, aliens exist. Ya, we're grown accustomed to talking to other people who share the same or differing views on different boards and whatnot, and make the assumption that the other 80% of the population does too, but that's WELL off.. Until the majority of the population has looked into this stuff pretty extensively, I wouldn't call anything 'disclosure' yet. Disclosure means there is 'intent', and there has been none of that from any party.

And yes, many national leaders or strong figures have the power to initiate disclosure, and their lives will most likely be on the line. Many people have given their lives for less though. Personally, I wouldn't go to the extent that say that we have the capabilities to remotely read a large sum of peoples' minds and prepare for whatever they're planning, so I don't think we could prevent disclosure if it comes to thought. I absolutely believe in mind manipulation and species-specific auditory telepathy, but still skeptical on true mind-control atm. Disclosure would be the introduction to the new world. And people don't think it would be a big deal, but it would. Disclosure nearly eliminates all religious beliefs. Yes, the religious population in America and probably most other countries is dwindling, but it's still a hefty sum of people that have grown up probably their whole lives on a belief that just got blown out of the water. Many countries have no bars between their gov't and religion. Currency would be completely eliminated. We had based our currency off of our planet's resources, but who is to say that we're sitting on a pretty depleted rock as far as 'truly valuable' resources are concerned. Foreign relations would be completely altered, and idk if this would result in a nice little fight or world peace. Nonetheless, it would bring dramatic consequences. Maybe not bad, but it would be revolutionary nonetheless.

Too much ranting, I apologize. My mind just likes to vent sometimes. Feel free to ask my view on anything.

OH, and I forgot to mention that you 'might' be getting the teleportation of light confused the experiment of transferring mass at the speed of light through connected media. Scientists have been able to inject atoms into one cell and 'poof' them to the other cell so far away at the speed of light, and they think it can be done for much larger molecules and other entities, though they are unsure. From what I understand, they must still form a physical connection though.. idk, it was still in the alpha stages. As far as teleportation of light, I think that was a bit skewed. Many believe some 'particles' can be teleported, but they are normally subatomic particles that hold no mass, and are largely theoretical or not researched enough for assuredness.
