I will also state that I am not sure of the facts if Im not.

If you look through some of my posts I also have stated many times that whatever it is I am relating is something that I have read, yes I know about books too. And if I cant remember where I have read it at least I am considerate enough to inform people of that fact.

No one expects you to have a complete reference libary at hand. Same as no one expects you to be able to remember where you have read a single line in a book 20 years ago that has stuck with you.

What is nice is to be able to give people an inkling of where your opinions have seeded. If you dont have a link, be up front about it, dont tell other people to look it up as they are not the ones making the claims, you are.

Also if it comes from a book and you can remember the name of the book well then thats at least a start.

Its not so much 'just' about the research. Its about letting people know where, why and how you formed your opinions, regardless of the subject you have posted about.

Very well said, Hazard. Good advice for all.

However, I've heard from Allison, our resident archaeologist, that not only is Sitchin wrong, but Heiser doesn't know what he's talking about either, so I'm not sure this is the best example, lol.
kirin....thanks for reminding me of thread. I remember reading through sitchins website. At that point I figured reading his books would be totally pointless....

I remember discussing this topic with allison....its still the only time I was ever greeted in ancient sumerian. She said the same thing about the people that saw helicopters in hyroglyphics.....

I understand what your're saying.. but didnt i do that? I was merely trying to help and i feel like ive been semi-flamed!!??

I gave the names of the book (the emerald tablets of Thoth) that mentions the reptillians AND the name of the shaman that extensively is quoted by Icke and is seen by some as an "authority" on them.. wasnt that enough? other than a full blown bibliography? If I didnt make it clear that others may not see my oppinion as fact i thought it would be obvious that all things are subjective when it comes to this sort of topic.. NO ONE can have FACT, short of a reptilian sipping tea in their lounge rooms! lol..

one thing tho, you said to explain "where, why and how you formed your opinions, regardless of the subject you have posted about".
i agree thats great and that IS the best way to help ppl trace your path and find their own conclusions.. but I may not have the time or commitment to such detail over a quick post that essentially contains enough seed of what a larger one would anyway..

anyway i dont want to waste my or ur time debating nothing of value.. ill take ur advice on board for next time.. tho to be honest you've made me alot more hesitant to post, which is hardly the spirit of this forum..

anyway i consider myself schooled.. Ur obviously a veteran on this forum so i dont take ur advice lightly..

i do look forward to future interactions with you Haz! you seem to have a healthy approach toward research..

David Icke is a classic example of the character assassination negative ETs propagate in their opposition(the christ stuff, and wild predictions also seen with Alex Collier in the same tactics used). They are dirty horrible beings. Icke isn't always right but hes a lot sharper than people make him out to be IMHO. He's done a lot more than anyone I've ever heard of in terms of exposing the corrupt groups on this planet.

As for reptilian ETs, he kind of spearheaded that awareness. Sure there are all sorts of very old references to them. And all sorts of things in our society that point to them(which sorry I'm not going to dig up for you, if you want to check into it check what Icke writes about Reptilians). I have respect for the guy. I know the tactics used by beings far above him. ANd can blatantly see them being used on him in the past. People are so quick to say nutcase, when a lot of his research is quite provable(just not about ETs). His exposure of groups like the Rothschilds, the bankers, and the global elite is unparallel.

Actually you did so sorry, it was overly harsh of me. (will always admit if Im at fault)

Dont worry about arses like me, post away, not all will be met favourably and everyone (regardless of who they are or how long they've been here, gets a bit of a sunburn on occasion.

Actually I can be a bit lazy with the research stuff (lol, someone pulled me up yesterday in another thread and asked for a link sending me searching ) but I do try and word my posts in such a way that what I am saying does not come across as gospel.

I look forward to our future interaction also, not saying we will be in agreement all the time but I will be fair and give credit where it is due.
