I don't think she was the "grandmother" of UFOlogy, but something amazing did happen to her that I don't think can be explained. Any how, she will be missed.

I imagine over the last 40 years, Betty probably made a few bucks from personal appearances and such. But you have to wonder if she ever wished she and Barney had just kept their mouths shut.

Godspeed, Betty. Perhaps now you know the real truth.

Any one that can make up an experience like Betty did, and continue the con
with the help of others, to keep us all interested for 40 years, deserves every penny she made.

And somehow manages to cause thousands of others to report incredibly similar experiences... If she isn't an abductee, then she's an incredibly intelligent psychic.

Even Betty was skeptical of most reported alien abduction cases.
