For those who are unfamiliar with the Phoenix Lights... Phoenix Lights - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What's everyones views on the Phoenix lights? Obviously, this is old salt. Well over a decade ago, but having only started researching UFO's recently, I stumbled across this case and was surprised i'd never come across something with this many witnesses and well documented footage. I'm absolutely astonished if this case lives up to its credibility.

If I didn't know now what I have learnt in a years research, and came across this case with zero knowledge on UFOs, the amount of witnesses and the clarity of that one video would have nearly been enough to make me a believer anyway.

Likewise, I couldn't find any threads about it on AU other than one in the video section. A few questions to the lifelong researchers who may have looked well into this one...

- Were there really 10,000 + witnesses?

- If so, are they mostly credible, or do you think a lot of them have just jumped on the bandwagon?

- Are there any other videos or well documented videos related to it?

- Is there any chance Fyfe Symington was influenced to change his opinion in 2007 by an external force for any reason? (Ie, Government)

- Does anyone have any more relevant information relating to this case that I may have missed?

- I believe this story is the real deal, it feels so in-your-face and obvious and in my opinion, one of the best i've seen so far. Does anyone have any clues as to what the ET's would be searching for, or doing in Phoenix? Is there a lot of Nuclear activity done there by humans?

Finally, i'm searching for a video which I think was taken by two separate witnesses. I'm not sure how long ago it was taken, but it depicts what appears to be some form of "Mothership" for lack of a better term, with many smaller craft exiting from the sides. I believe the video was either taken in New Mexico or Nevada, but someone may be able to correct me on that.

Also, can anyone provide any similar cases with the credibility, popularity and documentation such as the Phoenix lights?

In a completely non related matter, I've just read Stanton Friedman's Top Secret/Majic book. It's brilliant and I suggest to everyone who hasn't read it to give it a shot. I enjoy his truthful and scientific approach to the subject, he truly is a great man.

Forgive me for being so far behind on the subject, unfortunately I've only been researching the phenomena for a short time.

I have a former colleage who lives in Phoenix who saw the lights.This man knows what he is looking at and when the flare story came out he called me and said don't believe that story.He knew it was not military and he would know.I do think this was in fact the real deal.While he didn't give it a name he did say it was not of this earth and that he was sure of.I believe him and he is a non believer in ufos so he didn't have any predispositions.

I live in the Phoenix area,It happened,I didnt see it personally,But have run into a few who have and you can tell the way they describe it that its fact,Not imagination or fantasy.Theres a female doctor here in the valley who took some of the better footage and she indeed doesnt need the money nor the attention. I only wish i was out in the valley those nights..:O(

My view is that they were flying transports, most probably ET controlled, less probably Earth-human controlled. If they were ET-controlled then my estimate is that they were probably spiritually advanced human beings on a mission to enlighten/"wake-up" a few million more human beings from their daily, varyingly misguided, lives. Conclusion: an important but common event occurring all over our world, which will repeatedly occur far into the future and a core type of event of Ufology.

Has she released any of that information yet? Would be nice to see some more footage.

That's an interesting concept

Though if that were their mission, would you think they would start properly exposing themselves rather than making the odd, hard too see appearance?

This is an odd one...

But I found the mothership video I was searching for. I think this is the one, though i've seen a better one somewhere.

More than likely they were just here to pick up / drop off some people from there ship.
