Thread: The Threat by David M. Jacobs

If someone has a better idea than Jacobs I would like to hear it. Otherwise I still suggest the OP check out his work and make up his mind for himself. At the very least it will get you thinking.
Seems like everyone is forgetting that we have no real answers. Only theories and guesses. Not sure why the posters on this forum try to shoot down everyone they don't agree with but it's pretty lame. Considering there are posters who push material from anti-Semitic sites and quote them as legit sources I would think there are immediate bigger fish to fry than trying to prove someone's ideas wrong when NO ONE has the answer.

Anyone ever stop to think that maybe this guy is a fake and that there is no such thing as abduction?

First lets take this as it goes. some people are taken up freak out and then they are never taken again. why do they take mostly your average joe? why is it never some rocket scientist, or some intellectual, PHD, or anyone of any advanced IQ. it is usually some redneck or blue collar guy that has a simple life, with a simple mind, because the way the brain is wired its easier to replace his consciousness and put it into another body, simple average people are easier, because they never search out a why, they just take what info is given to them and move on. They don't do great things, they just live out their lives with no inclination to dig deeper, they will write something off as a dream faster than someone with a higher brain function. It is also easier to erase the memory of someone who doesn't want to know. The fact is that they do this some parts of the human mind are a threat, the deeper parts of it. Anyone with post traumatic stress disorder would not be able to be controlled nor would anyone with a typical neurosis. What you new agers don't get is this is the easiest integration, we get used to their technology and they can pass by us as the average joe and we would know them, they wouldn't know they were them till the change. Eat it with your wheat grass!

Not True

Intelligent people are at less risk of suffering severe mental illness, according to a new study by psychiatrists in the UK. This substantiates the conclusions of previous research on the same topic. Of course, what this suggests also is that some of the same genetic and brain differences that lead to mental illness may also cause lower IQ (again, in some but not all people) - which is a more logical explanation of the correlation of low IQ and mental illness.

Absolutely, but its more than just Jacobs writing about it. If you are calling millions of people around the world liars then thats on you. Me, I'm curious to hear their story. I am just encouraging the OP to make up their own mind as opposed to being pressured by the posters of this forum to believe what they believe.

Show me the statistics that say millions of people around the world have been abducted.

It's simply not true.

if there was someone in the media(or wherever)who was proven to be a harmful person, would you listen to his other theories?

see, what we do here is come with an open mind...and read all the evidence(it's the best there is, really ::

i have changed my views more than once after reading good links and sites...and double checking, of course...this is how you come up with solid facts for a better educated theory(at least i think so...new on this science stuff lol)

so...when one continues to defend someone who has not only been debunked but has been disassociated with mufon and been accused of sexual abuse and hypnotic suggestion to the detriment of the patient, i am curious as to why someone would actually give ANY of his ideas credence. ::

trust me, the only ones that even sound plausible are those he has recycled from others...
