the onion got me at first a fews years ago before someone told me it was a parody.....i kind of had an idea anyway, but dont feel alone.

this is a true story... long ago, when the onion was first being published, the chinese government took one of the parody articles in it seriously and gave an official government statement concerning what it claimed to concern. i cannot remember what the article concerned, but i swear on my life that i know this story to be factual.

also, just as an aside, i lived for a long time in boulder, colorado, where the onion originated, and i've always loved reading it. sometimes the humor falls a little flat, but occasionally it has had me rolling around laughing out loud.

Too bad the show got canceled.

The Onion is never meant to be taken seriously. As soon as I saw where it was from, I didn't even bother to click the link.
