An article published in the Solar System Research magazine reported Several objects resembling living beings were detected on photos made by a Russian landing probe in 1982 during a Venus mission.

Leonid Ksanfomaliti of the Space Research Institute of Russia’s Academy of Sciences published research that analyzed the photos from the Venus mission made by a Soviet landing probe, Venus-13, in 1982.

The photos feature several objects, which Ksanfomaliti said, resembled “a disk,” “a black flap” and “a scorpion.” All of them “emerge, fluctuate and disappear,” the scientist said, referring to their changing location on different photos and traces on the ground.

"What if we forget about the current theories about the nonexistence of life on Venus, let’s boldly suggest that the objects’ morphological features would allow us to say that they are living,” Solar System Research quoted Ksanfomaliti as saying.

No data proving the existence of life on Venus, where the ground temperature is 464 degrees Celsius (867 degrees Fahrenheit), has ever been found.

It would be fantastic to find life so close to earth, and life has a habit of turning up in unexpected places.
    I came, i saw, i left.

Well, I've often said that life as we know it can only exist in a very restricted environment, but life as we DON'T know it could exist almost anywhere. I think it's entirely possible that life COULD exist on Venus or elsewhere in the solar system. Does it exist? I don't know. But I certainly accept the possibility.

Now, I just don't believe anything until it gets verified with solid physical evidence.
And there just doesn't seem to be evidence for anything claimed in this field.
When I ask for evidence, all I get is accusations of being a denier.

Why not Venus?. It would be wrong to rule out that there may be life on Venus but I doubt that it's the life described here. The lifeforms living in the immediate vicinity of the
black smokers exist in a self contained eco system that provide everything they need to survive - we know this because they've been studied in detail and nothing about
their existence defies any laws of nature.
The creatures claimed to exist on Venus are IMO different. For scorpion like creatures to evolve and survive there would probably need to be a substantial and diverse eco system
on Venus. I see no such system and planetary biologists and astronomers endorse no such system on the planet.

Imo,You are right August. There is no reason why not and they probably are,imo planets that us as humans have never known have been drawn into the sun and we are in the goldy locks zone, over time all the planets will be closer and the one in the goldy locks zone will germinate. The black smokers are inhabited by creatures that survive on methane from the sea bed and i think i'm right in saying that they are packed with bacteria, they are the seed and as light warms the sea,the creatures from the smokers with be able to evolve and over time head for the surface and so on and so on..

Unless we can send something there, take data and come back all we have is theories,

Granted but for years we have thought life has to have the essentials to sustain it's self and that has been blown clean out of the water and up in smokers..lol..The elements and gasses are familiar to us,which should mean that the caustic enviroment would be comparable..
