Pictures of rods tend to be blurred due to the high speed of the rod, so its hard to know the exact detail on them. They are believed to have a membrane which they use to 'swim' through the air. The crop circle in that photograph does have a pattern around it which looks like the kind of membrane in some rod photographs, nice observation buddy

have you heard about the strange lights that have been seen in peoples cars whilst driving through an area of the Yorkshire dales in the UK, some people think that these are spirits but in reports they claim that these are moving objects of about 2 inches long.These 'lights' have only ever been seen at night and suddenly appear in the witnesses cars.Could these be 'rods'?

Rod sightings tend to be very brief, 'out of the corner of your eye' kinda sightings and as I understand the smallest rods are about 4 inches long.

Do you have any more information, or know of somewhere I could read about the Yorkshire Dales sightings?

I originally saw a program called strange but true a few years ago which highlighted this phenomena.I found this on another website, it wasn't the yorkshire dales but in the peaklands( so you probably have heard of this )

The Longendale Valley, sometimes called the "Haunted Valley," is famous for its many strange goings-on, including ghosts, UFOs and, of course, the Longendale Lights. The eerie flickering lights have been known for centuries and have come to be known as "The Devil's Bonfire." Age-old legends have attributed the lights to fairies, witches and even torch-bearing ghosts of Roman soldiers. According to The Peakland Spooklights, "Nearly everyone who has lived in the upper part of the valley has either seen them or knows someone who has seen them."
Could this be rods? i know its a real stab in the dark but hopefully the answer is not far away.

Strange But True was an awesome show, I prefered the UFO episodes such as the Rendelsham Forest Incident but the general paranormal ones were good also. They should put all the shows on DVD or rerun them on TV.

There was a "Think Tank" session in Central Florida in 1998 I was a part of in Gainesville for the University of Florida, and our focus was, among things, Alien Visitation.

We had found a pattern that linked visitations with crop circles and abductions. That pattern points to the food chain. They (the aliens) have a way of analysis that involves an obvious magnetic signature all the way to the cell walls, strong enough to organically shift and reposition the plant in twisted, intricate patterns. In the leaf structure, unreported but true, the Vacuole had ALL the nitrogenous waste seperated through the tonoplast without damage to the membrane wall.

More wild, at the point of the bend, those cells ONLY had the Nucleus altered. The Chromatin was seperated totally, the DNA and Protein in pure globules that were crystalized, and the RNA was missing totally.

Knowing this and the fact no human can replicate this in the field as we have seen it and no way can we even crystalize nucleosol in that way, points to some type of genetic investigation or research. (The only time organic material crystalized for us humans on the cell level were during microbiological test experiments in zero gravity.)

This is further raised by the Human Mutilation reports we have seen. Not just cows, but people who have had every major sensory organ removed, along with stomach content and digestive track, also points to some sort of genetic mapping or investigation about life on our planet. Also much less reported, were the mutilation cases of horses, a few dogs, pretty much any animal humans have social contact with, either farm or domestic.

We came to a few conclusions based on the facts we were supplied with.

1. Crop Circles are related to alien abductions and mutilation cases.

2. The Aliens are hostile and have no regard for our lives.

We were thanked and disbanded, and our non disclosure statements we signed kept people like me silent far too long. I could go on about what we learned based on their physical structure as we know it, but I hope I helped shed a bit of light on what is happening with the plants in those crop circles.
