The question for me is, can they prove any of it true?
We get disclosures of things all the time, documents leaked, whistle blowers etc.
As compared to say Karen Silkwood.
Why is this subject the only one that comes with zero evidence?

Hey,
I have watch the 4 hour recording of 'The Disclosure Project'. i got chills as a watched it, i mean those people were really convincing and some of the stories that were told were out of this world (sorry haha) what if there are true - how much really are our goverments hinding from us. Anyways so since i watched this conference lead by founder Steven M. Greer , have been trying to find out if its true - to my shock i can not find anything that proves what these people are saying is fake. The Disclosure Project has really got me thinking - can anyone else shed any light on this or have i missed something and just been stupid. i would love to hear any ideas or other things people have found out about this or if you think its true?

Whatever works, use it.
A good idea stands on its own value independent of authorship.
If it stands or falls on the credibility of the author, maybe it isn't such a good idea.
bart....a good point. Whistleblowers like Silkwood and Erin Brockvich had their evidence.....as did the exposure of places like Times Beach and Love Canal. I'd like to see the evidence on this topic as well.
Besides we know who would not believe what is disclosed as well......they'll always claim that more is being covered up.

If the skeptics have their way, they will have reduced ALL reports by people of any level of reliability to untrusting liars. So to their joy, nobody in the world will ever be believed no matter what they say about seeing a UFO.
No I do NOT mean all skeptics. Most skeptics here are pretty level headed(most of the time).
You can only go by their reputation as to whether or not they are telling the truth. Anything else would take considerable time and money.
For me if the account makes sense and the person telling it is of good reputation then that is good enough for me...but never forge your opinions to hard. They will change often on cases and people in this subject.
Always keep a good healthy level of skepticism. Never gullible believer and never a cynical skeptic. Best is to be in between. Few people here are truely in between.
That is a serious brain fart statement, or have you as sooo many others often do...confused the word evidence with the word proof?
They as in....?
So you think governments are a very trusting? No need to ever be suspicious of them or of anything/statement they ever say or have ever said?
If so CB, I think you are being extremely naive, but there is a surprising amount of people that feel that way.
In search of the real truth.
I too have trouble with this whole proof or its nothing thing. There have been some pretty reliable people over the years come forward and say they have seen some things pretty close up and so on.
If they were talking about a car or a rare plant, they would be believed without question or need for proof. But, mention the word UFO and there credibility is ignored and the old no proof fallback is used. It is very frustrating. Science is sometimes its own worse enemy.
Has there been any proof that it is not true?
They say that they have witnessed, first hand, evidence that there is more to the UFO phenomenon than we are being told (publicly), why disbelieve them?
It is no different to physicists making claims about what they believe to be true about certain aspects of the universe. There is little proof (substantiated) that many of their theories are correct.
They are theories..opinions..
I have to agree with SD and Dundee. I compare all sightings against my own. I suspect some of th triangles are man made reverse engineered craft. As technology progresses and we start cloaking our military aircraft I suspect there will be less sightings.
if ya happen to see god, tell him seen'um looking for him.
The disclosure project has been around for a number of years with nothing to show for it. I remember a press conference they had in 2006 where some of their principals stated they had information that governments were ready to divulge the existance of UFO's...well, what happened? Nothing, happened.
IMO, it's just another lame UFO organization being used as a foundation to extract money from the naive.
I can agree with this.
I've always been overly critical towards the Disclosure Movement.
Mostly because a great deal of it's members believe the world's governments are hiding evidence of extraterrestrial contact. This is just something that I can't believe in.
It's my opinion that we are not being contacted by aliens in this era and I honestly don't believe the governments of the world are covering this up.
Saying that, I believe in disclosure of UFO sightings, interviews, research, etc, that the governments may have carried out. This is the part of the cause I can throw my support behind.
Governments such as the UK have made great strides in disclosing the files they have from the MoD's UFO desk. I can only hope that other governments follow this example.
bill.zen, a dose of truth!
SD....I agree its best to research both sides of the argument and then use your own independent thought to arrive at what one thinks is a valid conclusion.
They as in those people who would not believe in any level of disclosure and who would always claim there is more to disclose...as they've already done. No I do not believe anything they tell me...unless of course I can confirm it. But then many things do not take much to confirm.
I could care less what people think.....if they think I'm naive they haven't read what I've been saying or they really do not think for themselves to much.
