Maybe there is a brainshaped parasite inside them, and on their own planets they exit the grey suit and swim around like jellyfish.

Seems like a simple question but how do We know what we see is them. Maybe what we see as greys are really their space suits. I mean their eyes are said to look like large almond shaped, and glossy. They kind of look like Sun Glasses.
And the small slit might be a way to help filter out the level of Oxygen because the amount is too toxic for them here on Earth. Perhaps inside the mouth slit is a type of filter.
Perhaps they are really fury or hairy underneath. or perhaps they look more like us.
Just a thought.

Some say they have skintight suits that mend themselves if ripped
Maybe The Suits They Wear Are Spun Around Them Like A Web.

I always wonder why aliens look the same...I mean look at us we're diverse we all have different features that make each of us unique.
They Look The Same Because They Are All Clones.
clones would still look different based on experience... scars, etc..
There could also be a possibility of a genetic occurance where there isnt enough gentetic differences anymore to develop differences. This could mean that the whole race is related to one enother. This normaly would cause genetic defects but I think that one the genetic line is old enough that it could have shed these anomolies or two they have powerfull medical technology and can prevent these genetic defects through splicing and bioenginearing. Yes they could be unique through personal experience and preference but could still be identical in 100% of their physical traits.
Well, there was that dream I posted about some time ago (it was a tad overlooked, must have been boring) that was about just that. Prior to that I didn't give a flying fart about greys much at all and the thought had never occurred to me. No one can put stock in dreams but it was fascinating nevertheless.
