Government to announce contact

I believe the governments of the world are on course to announce contact with extratarestrial life in the new year or during the new year celebrations. I'm not going to explain my reasoning at the moment but watch this space and watch the world's media.

That would be interesting. I'm game.

Personally, I have not doubt we have found wreckage and therefore bodies. But, I'm not so sure it will be the government that will reveal the truth first.

I think humans plan to hold secret the alien technolgies as long as they can...or at least until they sap us for all of our money by slowly releasing new iterations of the "pentium processor."

Unfortunately, I have heard this before, and again, and again....
Back in the early 80's I would have bet my first born that the government would have admitted it by 2000.

However, we are conditioned now... so I say bring it on!

Presenting intelligent alien life on New Year's Eve isn't very sensible, considering most people are drunk by then.

I suppose it's possible, but if they do, the govt must have ulterior motives for so doing. On the other hand, the govt may know that a very large blue globe is in orbit out near Neptune and has announced its intentions to come this way in 2006. That would make it a moot point.
