Hello Mande wink.gif

You can try for example:

UFOs And The National Security State: Chronology of a Coverup, 1941-1973, by Richard M. Dolan Foreword by Jacques F. Vallee; Hampton Roads Publishing Company; Revised edition (July 2002).

Hope this helps.

The second volume of Richard Dolan's UFOs and the National Security State, which will cover 1974 to the present, will be published sometime this year.

If you can't wait, there's also:

Need to Know: UFOs, the Military, and Intelligence by Timothy Good, Pegasus Books, 452pp., 2007.

Have a good read, Mande wink.gif

There are actually a ton of interesting books that I have found through personal research on these subjects. One in particular that I am almost finished with is a book called The Day After Roswell, it is written by a Pentagon official by the last name of Caruso, there is also info. about him on the internet. Another book that was supposed to be coming out that I myself am going to attempt finding is one about the disclosure of information (there is also a press conference that you can find called the Disclosure Project which is amazing) by Steven Greer. This is also something you can find online. I will continue to post here as I think of some and I'd like to read others opinions on good books in this category b/c I myself love to read any and all info. about this and various other subject matter. Good idea for a post, was hoping to find something along these lines here.

A balanced book is one that mostly are collections of sightings and reports.
Some of the best ones like this, were mostly published before 1974 though.

As a reference book to to famous sightings, alien races, and general ufology, I would strongly recommend " An Overview of Extraterrestrial Races: Who is Who in the Greatest Game of History" by Rolf Waeber (who happens to be a member at A-U (Traveller)........ http://www.trafford.com/4dcgi/view-item?item=9515

Hope this helps

I would like to know what books you are referring to when you call them "fantastic bullshit". What some people call "bullshit" is what many believe to be truth and may well be, and vice-versa. Please clarify so that I can recommend some to you.

Unfortunately, when it comes to UFOs and Abductions, much that is involved is a lot of speculation since we do not understand and often cannot even contemplate what these beings are actually up to. There are many theories, but they are just that, theories. Hybridization for either starting a new world, saving an old one, or some other unknown reasons.

However, to answer your question, I recommend books by John E. Mack, Dr. David Jacobs, and Budd Hopkins, all of whom are respected by most UFO/Abduction believers.

I'm a big fan of Sidney Sheldon's The Doomsday Conspiracy. It's more about a government cover-up for aliens than the actual aliens themselves, but it really got my paranoid side going.
