The MoD, which usually investigates UFO sightings, said: “We’ve heard nothing about this. But it is certainly not advisable for police helicopters to go chasing what they think are UFOs

Ehhhhh Why? thats certainly a strange thing to say.. the MoD made a boo boo aswell..

yes but it was speeding and flying dangerously thats a least a six month ban,i don't think i'd stop either.or maybe it did stop but at the speed they fly it was in spain before it came to a halt....since january though we have been having a least one Sighting a month appearing in the papers of ufo's.i'd like to think deep down that they do visit, but i believe it is a cover for thier stealth vehicles that are virtually invisible to electronic detection devices.i also think contact will be made before they visit.if they come uannounced i don't think it will bode well.

I'm sorry macdaddy but I don't buy the excuse, "it's a cover for their stealth vehicles that are virtually invisible to electronic detection devices".
Do you really believe that the U.S. , or anyone else here on Earth for that matter , has craft that can travel at Mach 2 and beyond and make 90 degree turns without the G-Force killing the crew? Craft that can accellerate beyond military aircraft then come to a dead stop? There has been so many reports by Civilian Pilots, Military Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers that describe such manoevers. These "UFO's" surely are extra-terrestrial in origin.

According to BBC Welsh News the helicopter did not chase the UFO.Also the police reportedly could not see anything with their night vision goggles but the object was visible to the naked eye.

That looks like a trash site. Look at the other stories they have. It is a site based on entertaining you with anything. Anything to the point that the truth is a lesser formality.

Lol that is the sun, 1 of the best selling "newspapers" here in england.

famous for its page 3 girls, and it has been known to exagerate stories, but if its on the bbc news then i would tend to believe it.

I would believe the Sun's version of the event than the BBC.. I mean who wouldnt give chase to an object that nearly flew
into you and you did not know what it was..

According to Wikipedia, The Sun is not just the largest newspaper by circulation in Britain, but the largest by circulation in the world. Of course it is rubbish, but there is a maxim that whomever The Sun endorses in a general election wins that general election in Britain.

Some of the older regulars who were here around last October still get nightmares about that second video.

Thanks Benny, sometimes it can be difficult to find something if a link or a copied and pasted article is not given. You rock. The story was a great read. I hope it's true. I'm just glad no one was serious hurt by this.
